Jahnvi has been playing tennis for about 4 years now and she thoroughly enjoys it. As a child and even when we started this programme, she was very scared of movement based activities. It was difficult to get her to run even 2-3 paces without stopping. Tennis has helped her to improve her agility, focus, alertness and attention. It has also given her a sense of accomplishment, which is so important when it comes to improving the self-esteem of our children with autism. Changes have not happened overnight, neither has it been a steadily upward moving graph, however, it is very rewarding when we see her play and we know that things will only get better.

Besides tennis, Jahnvi also takes part in Zumba classes with a small group twice a week.
